A seven day road closure of a West Cumbrian road is set to start on Monday for resurfacing work.
The B5344 at Holmrook Hill, between Gosforth and Seascale, will be closed from 7.30am to 7pm.
Cumberland Council said the work will take up to seven days, subject to weather and site conditions and a location plan had been provided to residents.
Access for residents will be limited during working hours, but traffic marshals will be on site to help people reach their properties when it is safe to do so.
Refuse collections will be maintained where safe access is possible.
Access for emergency services, pedestrians and cyclists will be available at all times.
