
Penrith came away with the bragging rights from the Northern League derby against neighbours Carlisle City.
Home side City probably just edged a scoreless first-half but heavy conditions made it difficult for both sides to play any constructive football.
It was Penrith who handled the conditions better in the second half and they scored three unanswered goals to clinch the points.
Two goalkeeping errors inside four minutes gave Penrith an important edge as Connor Hammell (65) scored direct from a corner and then Luke Brown (69) added the second.

City never really threatened in the second-half and Penrith had the game won even before Ellis Trotter added the third goal in the third minute of time added on.
