A Cumbrian firm has become a key sponsor of a county hospice at home service.
Vehicle leasing business FlexiRental has pledged its support to Hospice at Home West Cumbria for 2026.
FlexiRental has been expanding its footprint across West Cumbria and said it had made a conscious decision to invest in organisations that made a profound and lasting impact within the community.
Hospice at Home West Cumbria provides free palliative and end-of-life care, enabling patients to remain at home, surrounded by loved ones, during the most difficult time.
Daley Rogers, business development and marketing lead at FlexiRental, said: “I’ve seen first-hand the care, dedication and comfort that Hospice at Home West Cumbria brings to families across our area.
“The compassion their team shows in incredibly difficult circumstances is something that stays with you.
“Supporting them wasn’t a business decision — it was a human one.
“As a Cumbrian business growing across West Cumbria, we hope we can play a small part in helping them continue their mission — not only to provide outstanding care, but also to dispel the stigma that sometimes surrounds hospice support.
“Hospice care is about dignity, comfort and support, and more people need to understand that.”
Jess Woolaghan, partnerships and fundraising co-ordinator at Hospice at Home West Cumbria, added: “Hospice at Home West Cumbria is delighted to be partnering with FlexiRental.
“They are brilliant to work with, their enthusiasm for supporting our local charity really shines and we are excited to grow the partnership over the coming year.
“We’ve already got some great plans and events lined up together, and we look forward to the community coming together to raise awareness and funds around the services we provide for patients and their families.”
