Maryport Junior Darts Club has been celebrating its first anniversary after being set up last year by teenager Jayden Faulder.
He established the club with the support of his parents, Claire and Carl, and drew his encouragement and inspiration from the successful Wigton Junior Darts Club.
With the encouragement and help of his parents, he was able to turn his idea into reality.
The club has been supported by donations from local businesses and community members, which has helped it grow and provide opportunities for young people in Maryport and the surrounding areas.
Over the past year, the club has made a real difference to the youngsters who attend.
They have built new friendships, grown in confidence, and developed their darts skills. Some of the players have even gone on to compete in local competitions and take part in local pub leagues.
The club provides a safe, welcoming environment where children can spend their time positively.
It has helped keep young people off the streets and out of trouble by giving them somewhere secure and supportive to go, where they feel valued and encouraged.

Jayden and his parents thanked everyone for their continued support over the past year, especially their main sponsors: Northern Competitions, GT Tyres and Maryport Bodywork.
A senior club spokesman said: “If any local businesses would like to support the club, it would be greatly appreciated.
“Additional sponsorship would help us continue to grow, upgrade equipment and boards, and provide even more opportunities for local children.”
