
The West Cumbria Amalgamation handed out seasonal awards at their annual moot recently.
It was another successful event with the invited panel all proving interesting and informative guests.
Tom Roskell Williamson, Jamie Langrish and Chris Mellor fielded members’ questions and in the absence of chairman Bobby Rimmer, through illness, local officials Jimmy Nelson and Les Blacklock directed proceedings.
There was also a special squeaker sale in which there were 18 lots offered and they raised £1,200.

Amalgamation winners from the 2025 received their awards including David Lofthouse, winner of the VE Day Medal; McLuckie bros who had three firsts and best old bird; Evans, Taylor and Abraham with two firsts and best young bird and David Harrison and son who had three firsts.
