
Copeland police said they recovered a stolen motorbike from the Marchon site in Whitehaven.
The bike had been spotted by a member of the public who reported the bike as potentially stolen on the site in Kells.
Copeland police said: “PC 2857 attended and after a long game of hide and seek located the stolen motorbike.
“A very long walk later and what felt like an eternity PC 2857 pushed the bike back to the van.
“The very happy owner was contacted and the motorbike was returned.
“PC 2857 would like to thank the vigilant member of the public who contacted police and the other member of public who helped him get the bike out of a very tricky spot.”
