For the second time in a fortnight Workington Reds have been hit with the recall of a forward on loan at Borough Park.
The downside of the loan system has hit home after Luke Hunter has followed Daniel Ogwuru out of the door and back to his parent club.
Both had initially joined the Reds on loan until the end of the season.
Hunter, the former Penrith striker, had scored twice in five games for the Reds as Billy Barr’s men stretched their unbeaten run to seven games.
Ogwuru, who had joined from Morecambe, was also recalled early after he had scored three times in his five outings for the West Cumbrians.
As well as losing Hunter and Ogwuru, Reds are also without experienced striker Steven Rigg as he recovers from a knee operation.
Unbeaten in seven with three away draws and four home wins, Reds have another massive relegation battle on Saturday when they travel to Hyde.
The two clubs are level on points with Hyde having a game in hand and a goal difference better by six.
