A man had to be rescued after he felt unwell while out on an early morning walk in the Lake District.
Keswick Mountain Rescue Team said they were called to Falcon Crag, at Derwentwater, on March 18 at at around 6.40am.
The 47-year-old man was out for an early morning walk above Falcon Crag with his camera when he suddenly felt unwell and was unable to continue.
The mountain rescue team said: “Lack of clarity over the precise location meant the team approached from both Ashness and from Rakefoot Farm over Walla Crag.
“The man was assessed and stretchered off back to Ashness and then transported to the rescue base to await an ambulance that took him to hospital for checks.”
