BAE Systems is due to a move two heavy loads by road on Monday, June 8.
The operation will involve a disruption in the morning and afternoon to Michaelson Road and Bridge Road on Barrow Island.
Delays are scheduled to last for around an hour at a time.
Cumbria Constabulary will operate rolling road closure during the movements.
