Maryport Sunday Darts League’s series of knockout competitions continued at Maryport Bowling Club with a Trebles event.

There was a brilliant turnout with 15 entries playing and they produced some fine darts before it came down to the final two teams.

League champions Miners Arms, Prospect were represented by Steven Ostle, Darren Bowe and Mark Sloan as they took on Sun Inn A’s trio of Ken McCartney, Jayden Faulder and his dad Carl Faulder,

It was a good battle but despite the Sun Inn having darts to win, it was Mark Sloan who won the game 2-1 for the Miners team.

Next week’s knockout action is the Team Knockout semi-final and final to be played at Glasson Rangers with a 7.30pm start.

The Miners Arms and the Sun Inn A are involved again and they will be joined by Sun Dial A and Sun Dial B.
