Carlisle United stayed on course for a crucial third-place finish in the National League with a 2-1 win at Braintree.
An 89th minute effort from Cameron Harper earned United all three points and kept the home side deep in trouble third bottom of the table.
Regan Linney seems to have regained his early season finishing ability after a mid-season dip and after he had hit the post he broke the deadlock after 34 minutes.
After turning defender Ben Drake, the sharp-shooter crashed home a thundering strike from a difficult angle.
He had claims for a penalty turned down after a strong challenge from home defender Emmanuel Okunowo and it looked a costly decision when Braintree levelled four minutes before half-time.
Carlisle were caught out by a cross from Elliot Thorpe which was buried impressively by Lewis Walker.
Encouraged in the second half Braintree went close when John Akinde shot just wide and Drake had strong penalty appeals waved away.
To the dismay of the home fans, but wildly celebrated by over 400 travelling Carlisle supporters, full-back Harper struck late after a short corner routine.
