Two semi-finals in the Barton Townley Trophy competition are being staged at Craven Park in Barrow today.
Millom and Roose Pioneers start the ball rolling at 1pm and that will be followed by Dalton against Barrow Island.
Roose had a 20-strong squad initially prepared for the opening tie which was being reduced after the final training session.
Missing will be Rob Bamber, Craig Deakin and captain Luke Chelton while full-back Regan Livingston has been 50/50 struggling with a shoulder injury sustained against Cockermouth two weeks ago.
Glenn Phillips will captain the team and the Pioneers welcome back Ellis Rea, plus potentially Alfie Coxon, Matty Roberts and Max Davies, who has rejoined the club after a couple of years away.
Millom have virtually a full squad to choose from with Connor Terrill back from France and available again. Jonty Peters also returns as well as Rio Walker and Ethan Kelly.
There are a couple of injuries to check on and a final decision will be made closer to kick-off.
Dalton will have to make some key changes as unfortunately they have some injury concerns to contend with.
After a superb start to his debut season with Dalton, loose forward Shane Sanderson will be missing for a number of weeks after picking-up a couple of fractured ribs in Saturday’s win at Maryport midway through the second-half.
Club captain Joe Crarey will also be joining him on the sidelines due to a hamstring injury he picked-up at training on Tuesday, while dual registration winger Dan Knott is unavailable as he’s been selected for Barrow Raiders duties.
Forwards Isaac Barber and Ioan Hayes both return to the squad along with centre Elliot Bibby who returns from holiday.
Barrow Island had a very good win at Ellenborough on Saturday in the Cumbria Regional Conference and will be on similar lines.
