This is where you can join us for the Easter Tuesday game of Workington’s Uppies & Downies this year.
Downies have it all to play for after Andy Hunter, 19, of Distington, hailed the ball for the Uppies on Good Friday after around four-and-a-half hours of play.
He has joined the Hailers Hall of Fame here (which we think is the most definitive list yet of hailers – thanks to Keith Wallace for generously allowing us to use his research for the excellent Barbarians of Workington book). There are some hailers missing – if you know them, please do tell us so we can add them in!
