A road is set to close to allow for pothole repairs in Longtown.
Cumberland Council will be carrying out carriageway improvement works to repair potholes along the route between Sarkhall and Oak Bank starting from Monday April 20.
The work is expected to take around 10 working days, subject to weather and site conditions, and will be carried out between 8am and 4pm each day.
The road will be closed for the duration of the scheme, with a signed diversion route in place.
Access for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times.
