A Lake District hill farm will hold an open day next month.
Cragg House Farm in Buttermere will give people the chance to look behind the scenes at the event on May 17.
The traditional tenant hill farm, combines working livestock systems with education, experiences and diversification to help connect people with the realities of modern farming.
Its open day will include hands-on experiences, live demonstrations and family-friendly activities celebrating life on a working hill farm.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet native and rare breed animals, including Bagot and Golden Guernsey goats, Oxford Sandy and Black pigs, Herdwick sheep, fell ponies, poultry and their young.
A full day of farming in action will include a packed timetable of Fell Pony demonstrations, sheepdog demonstrations, farmer Q&A sessions and a fun dog show.
Alongside the main arena events, visitors can take part in a wide range of interactive activities including a farm riddle trail with sweets for all participants and entry into a prize draw, a stock judging competition, guess the weight of the piglets, farm quiz, a colouring competition for children, and a Photo of the Day competition with the winner receiving a Lake District Shepherd Experience worth £150.
Refreshments will be provided by local vendors The Sheepfold and The Binsey Field Kitchen.
Visitors will also be able to buy farm products including goat milk soap, fresh eggs, sheep wool and yarn, and other produce.
The farm has recently launched a new Fell to Fork education programme, designed to give children a hands-on understanding of where food comes from, how it is produced, and the role of farming in caring for the landscape.
As part of this initiative, the farm is offering fully funded school trips through the Farming in Protected Landscapes programme, supported by the Lake District National Park Authority.
Only seven fully funded trips remain for the summer term, available on a first-come, first-served basis for groups of up to 30 children.
Booking is instant and available online.
The open day, on May 17, runs from 10am to 4pm. Admission for adults is £5, children aged two to 16 £2, family ticket £10.
Parking is available in the village or National Trust car parks. Buttermere can also be accessed by bus from surrounding towns.
