Due to the early kick-off, work commitments and injuries the Hornets brought a few old faces into the squad.
Head coach Ricky Holliday played at centre and helped himself to a couple of tries.
The first was created by a great off-load from, assistant coach Kevin Clark who was playing his first game for several years.

Maryport A won the derby with Glasson A 56-22 after a good start by Glasson had seen them leading 6-0 and later 18-6 before Maryport took over.
Man of the match full-back Lewis Walling scored two tries and kicked eight goals while the other tries came from Danny Herbert (2), Jordan Taylor, Connor Mottley, Oliver Sewell, Finley Moore, Callum Toal and Clayton McCormick.

One of the Glasson coaching team, Chris Broadley, said: “It was disappointing in the end because we started well and looked comfortable for then first 30 minutes.
“Two Maryport tries before half-time dampened what would have been a good first half.
“In the second half we just didn’t get to the level of performance we expected. We were too soft in the contact area and that allowed Maryport to dominate.
“That was our first game in a month after having two called-off so there was obviously a bit of match rustiness.”
Matthew Burns, who starred for Glasson with two tries, was later confirmed to have broken his arm.
In the other game, a reverse fixture to the first team clash, Dalton A completed the double by winning 42-26 at Hensingham A.
