
A young girl, who was the victim of a hate crime, assaulted a boy in a Carlisle park.
Carlisle police said they were investigating the assault, which happened at Bitts Park on Tuesday, April 28, at around 7.50pm.
The boy, who was not injured as a result of the assault, was part of a group.
Carlisle police said: “The female was victim of a hate crime before the incident, officers attended and proactively stopped those involved in that incident.
“Officers are appealing to identify the female or any witnesses.”
