A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after a collision in the Lake District on Tuesday.
Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team was called to Glencoyne, near Glenridding, at around 7.45pm.
The team said they had been requested by the North West Ambulance Service to help.
It added: “The team worked alongside the ambulance service and Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service, stabilising the casualty then helped carry them on their stretcher to the waiting ambulance.”
The call out lasted two hours and at 9.05pm, the mountain rescue team was called again to help an ill camper.
The lone camper at Red Tarn in Glenridding had been feeling unwell and vomiting for some time. They requested help to get to the valley bottom.
Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team said: “The team were mobilised and once at the casualty they were assessed and slowly walked off the hill without the need of a stretcher evacuation. A bed was found for the night at the local YHA.”
