It’s as you were at the top of the Cumbria League’s Premier Division with the three joint leaders all winning again.
Keswick, Cockermouth and Whitehaven maintained their 100% starts – and all did it away from their home grounds.
Keswick haven’t scored many runs in their two victories at Fitz Park but they rattled up 295-7 in their 50 overs after choosing to bat at Edenside against Carlisle 2nds.
Glen Weightman opened and hit a swashbuckling 173 off 147 deliveries, which included 22 fours and three sixes.
Next best was Will Atkinson, a former opener coming in at six, who hit 42 off 39 balls.
Carlisle were never in a position to chase a winning total and in the end were becalmed on 121-6 when the overs ran out.
Overseas amateur David Rhoda was Carlisle’s top scorer with 26 while Dan Gaskell (2-9) and Paul Hindmarch (2-13) were the most successful Keswick bowlers.
Cockermouth won a tight game at Furness where almost 500 runs were scored, getting over the line by four wickets and four balls to spare.
It was the second narrow defeat in a row for champions Furness who had elected to bat first and made a satisfactory 246-6 in their 50 overs.
Openers Samson Storey (78) and Lewi Gribbin (47) put on 82 for the first wicket and professional Promod Maduwantha (56no) produced best support from there. Alex Grainger took 2-30 for Cockermouth.
The visitors needed a good start to challenge that total and they got it from Grainger (66) and Regan Scott (63), with 130 for the first wicket. Skipper Matty Sempill (33) and Tom Norman (26) provided support from there to get Cockermouth to their target.
Gary Thompson (2-28) was the most successful Furness bowler.
Completing the trio of wins for the leaders were Whitehaven who were successful by eight wickets in their west Cumbrian derby at Workington.
Match hero was sub pro, Bacup’s South African professional Garnett Tarr who made an unbeaten 95 which steered Whitehaven to s winning reply of 189-2 in just 38.3 overs. Stephen Holliday (35) and Josh Foster (24no) also contributed to the total.
Earlier Workington’s total of 185 all out in 48.4 had been built around 70 from professional Vishva Chathuranga with David Pearce (24) and Ryan Clubley (20no) joining in down the order.
Four Whitehaven bowlers took two wickets each with Billy Thompson (2-29) the best from eight overs.
Millom scored their second win of the season when they beat Wigton by 59 runs after being put in to bat.
Lachlan Wilson (71), professional Nathan Waterston (57), Callum High (37) and Graham Dawson (35) all enjoyed time in the middle as they reached 235-6 off their allotted overs.
Sam Murdock (2-54) and Dean Thomlinson (2-59) both had ten over spells and the best returns for Wigton.
In reply Wigton were 6-3 but rallied, although seven batsmen failed to reach double figures.
Largely through the efforts of pro Chris Hodgson (51), Jonathan Pearson (44no) Matthew Reed (23) and Thomlinson (14) they finally totalled 165 after 40.1 overs.
Oscar Mackie (3-16) and Cody Williamson (3-45) were the main wicket-takers for Millom.

The visitors opted to bat first and when professional Vaibhav Bhatt was out for just two they had slumped to 14-5.
But from that precarious position they did recover to 155 ball out in 47 overs thanks to Joss Edwards (41), Alan Hunter (33) and Matthew Jones (28). David Blackwell, who had done most of the early damage, finished with 6-37.
Cleator reached their target for the loss of six wickets in 37-3 overs led by professional Dilan Jayalath (44), Tom Sharpe (30no) and Doug Hughes (28). Daniel Sharpe took 3-26 for Dalton.
