58 passengers were rescued from a Lake District boat after it had broken down mid-trip.
The Windermere Cruises vessel had experienced a small fire in the engine room, which was quickly extinguished by quick-thinking crew, but meant the boat could not continue.
Emergency services were called to the incident, on Tuesday, including Furness Coastguard, Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service, the ambulance service, police and lake wardens.
Furness Coastguard added: “The 58 passengers were transferred to another vessel, with no injuries reported.”
