
A small earthquake was felt in South Cumbria this morning.
The 2.3 magnitude minor earthquake hit the Silverdale area at around 10.11am today, Wednesday 13 May.
The British Geological Survey said it had a depth of 3km and was felt in Silverdale, Carnforth, Milnthorpe and Grange-over-Sands.
Two minor earthquakes were also felt in the same area in December.
One registered in the Carnforth area while the other was recorded again in Silverdale.
