
Police are searching for two good Samaritans who helped a man who had been assaulted on a Carlisle night out.
The victim, a 29-year-old from Carlisle, sustained a broken jaw in the incident between 10.30pm on March 28 and 4am on March 29.
A 30-year-old man from Wigton was arrested on suspicion of harassment, GBH assault and malicious communication. He was subsequently released on police bail.
Police are looking for two members of the public who helped the victim at Aritha’s bar and at Pizza Time where the victim had sustained a cut to the inside of his mouth and was spitting blood.
