8-year-old airlifted to hospital after Kendal crash

An eight-year-old was airlifted to hospital after a collision in Kendal.

Police are investigating the incident, which happened at around 5.45pm on Monday on Well Ings.

It involved the youngster and a motor vehicle.

The child was airlifted to hospital from the scene.

Cumbria police are appealing for any witnesses, dashcam or CCTV from the public to assist with their investigation.
