
Mirehouse have clinched a place in the semi-final of the Cumberland County League’s Whitehaven Cup.
They beat Workington Juniors 3-2 last night and the Premier Division side will visit Division One champions Dearham United at Pottery Park in the semi-final on Saturday.
Mirehouse got through with goals from Callum Wilson, Robbie Swinburn and Keenan Mackay with Niall Melton and Macauley Sharp netting for Workington.
The other semi-final on Saturday will be between Whitehaven Miners Social and Premier Division champions Unisun Athletic with the final set for the Falcon Complex, Egremont on Saturday, May 23.
