Aldi is searching for new store locations in Cumbria.
The budget supermarket chain is inviting shoppers across the county to help it find possible locations for new stores.
People are being asked to submit suggestions for locations and Aldi said the most requested will be reviewed by its team.
It comes after Aldi opened its new Whitehaven store at the end of April. Work also remains ongoing to build a new Aldi store in Egremont.
Aldi said the two new stores will see a combined investment of £14 million go into the local economy.
Jonathan Neale, managing director of national real estate at Aldi UK, said: “We know how important it is for people to have access to affordable, high-quality food close to where they live, which is why we’re asking our shoppers to help us identify the communities that would benefit most from a new Aldi store.
“Opening new stores in these areas means we can bring great value to more customers, while also creating jobs and offering industry-leading pay.”

Aldi is asking for submissions by Thursday June 18 2026, with plans to share the results and unveil the next round of priority locations later this year.
