Penrith will be playing their rugby in Regional Two North next season following their relegation.
It means they will be facing local rivals Upper Eden in League derby clashes for the first time.

Kirkby Lonsdale, who were promoted from Counties 1 Cumbria after winning the League in the season just ended, have been put into Regional 2 North West for the 2026/27 season.
At the moment there is no definitive League make-up for Cumbria from the RFU and there have been calls and suggestions of a two-tier set-up.
There have been rumours of Furness coming back into the competitive mix, and a possible split of 14 Cumbrian teams into two Leagues, but nothing definite has been received from the RFU.
