Crew Clothing has announced it will be opening a new store in a Lake District town this summer.

The retailer will open its new shop on Compston Road in Ambleside.

It has not revealed the opening date.

Carol Kane, head of retail at Crew Clothing, said: “We’re thrilled to be opening in Ambleside, a town that perfectly captures the spirit of the British outdoors.

The Lake District feels like a natural fit for Crew Clothing, and we’re excited to bring our collections to both local customers and the many visitors who travel to the area throughout the year.

We’re looking forward to becoming part of the community and welcoming customers into the new store this summer.”
