Trains are cancelled between Millom and Corkickle this afternoon.
An obstruction on the track at Millom means that all lines are blocked.
Trains are unable to run between Millom and Corkickle in both directions.
Disruption is expected until at least 4pm today, Friday May 29.
Network Rail staff are now on site and are working to resolve the issue.
Services on the following routes will be affected by this disruption:
- Between Barrow and Corkickle
- Between Lancaster and Corkickle
Northern services between Barrow and Lancaster are not affected.
