A dog was abandoned in a Cumbrian railway station’s waiting room overnight.
Eden police said they were called to Kirkby Stephen Railway Station today, Tuesday June 2.
Officers said the dog’s owner had been arrested on Monday and following the arrest, the dog, an Akita crossed with a Cane Corso, had been left with the man’s partner and friend.
Eden police added: “She has been checked over by RSPCA and she is in good health and lovely temperament.”
