A person has been evacuated from a house fire in Kendal.
Firefighters were called out to the fire in a home on Kirkland View at 8.17am yesterday, Tuesday June 3. Teams arrived on scene in under five minutes.
Three fire engines from Kendal and Windermere fire stations were mobilised and quickly extinguished the fire using breathing apparatus.
A person was also evacuated from the property.
Crews attended the fire for about 45 minutes.
