A person was rescued from the sea by emergency services.
Millom Coastguard Rescue Team, Furness Coastguard Rescue Team, Cumbria police and Haverigg Inshore Rescue Team were called yesterday, Monday June 1 to Haverigg foreshore.
The person was helped from the water and handed over to the North West Ambulance Service for treatment.
