Whitehaven comfortably made it three Championship wins in a row against North Wales Crusaders.
They had been shocked when the visitors took an early lead but the home side had powered ahead 34-12 by the break.
The second half soon became a question of how many Whitehaven would win by.
In fact they scored 46 unanswered points to win 80-12 and move to 12th in the table.
North Wales, who had crashed 134-0 to London Broncos a week earlier, had taken the lead with a try on five minutes by Fisher which he converted.
However, by the time former Whitehaven half-back Brad Billsborough scored their second, converted by Fisher, they had conceded 28 points.
By half-time Jordan Burns had claimed a hat-trick (11, 30, 40) and there were further touchdowns by Jay Weatherill (18), Jack Kellett (23) and Cieran Walker (26) – five of them converted by Walker.
When Jake Pearce went in after just a minute of the second-half it was a signal for a Haven onslaught.
Weatherill went on to add to his first-half try with three more in the second – 66th, 71st and 79th minutes – while the others came from Ellison Holgate (56), Walker (59), Pearce (63) and Ethan Bickerdike (80).
Walker kicked seven more to finish with 12 on the day.
After the win, Whitehaven announced they have secured the services of their coaching pair for two more years.
James Newton and Neil ‘Gus’ Frazer will remain as head coach and assistant coach until the end of the 2028 season.
The club said it was delighted to be able to tie down two local coaches on the back of three successive victories which has seen the club move up the Championship table.
Also announced was the return of the club’s community foundation as the club looks to establish more links with its local community off the field.
