Resurfacing work will begin on the A66 next Monday for over a month.
National Highways said crews will be out from 7pm to 6am on the eastbound carriageway between Brough and Stainmore on weekdays from Monday, July 6, until August 21.
There will be a contraflow in operation and signed diversions will be in place.
Access will be maintained.
