A Barrow man has appeared in court after a woman was reportedly assaulted in two separate incidents.
The first incident happened in Crellin Street in Barrow at around 11.45pm on July 23. The second was in Bath Street at around midnight.
Officers arrested a man following the incidents.
Ciaran Light, 30, of Dundonald Street, Barrow, was charged with two counts of assault.
He appeared in Barrow Magistrates’ Court on July 25 where he denied the charges. He is due to stand trial in September.
