[P]olice in Barrow are investigating an incident outside an address on Penrith Place yesterday (June 12).
Two Barrow men, aged 18 and 20, were arrested on suspicion of assault following an altercation with another group in which a 19-year-old male sustained a suspected fracture to his arm, and a 30-year-old man suffered facial injuries.
It is alleged a metal bar and knuckle-duster were used in the course of the assaults.
The incident was reported to police at around 3.30pm, and is believed to have taken place following another altercation near The Last Orders pub, on the corner of Greengate and Rawlinson Street.
The two suspects remain in custody at Barrow Police Station whilst enquiries continue.
