[C]umbria Police are investigating after a 7-year-old boy was bitten on the arm by a dog.
The boy was walking with his mother on Rampside Road, Barrow, in Furness near to the junction with North Row at about 3.55pm on Wednesday 8th November 2017 when a brindle coloured Staffy-type dog with a white mark on its chest, wearing a black harness, that was being walked on a lead, jumped up at the boy and bit him on his arm causing bruising.
The woman in charge of the dog is described as white, late 40s to early 50s, slim build, brown shoulder-length hair and wearing glasses with a blue bomber jacket, light blue jeans and brown boots.
