[A] man has been charged in connection with an assault in Whitehaven on December 30th.
Mark Quigley, aged 43, of Hillcrest Avenue, Whitehaven, has been charged with section 18 GBH. He will appear at Carlisle Magistrates Court today (1st January 2018).
Police were called at 11:42pm on Dec 30th to a report of an assault on Lowther Street, Whitehaven. A 39 year old man from Whitehaven sustained serious, non-life threatening, head injuries. A 26 year old local man also sustained minor injuries.
