Rescue teams and police helicopter join search for missing North Yorkshire man

[P]olice are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Paul Parvin who has gone missing from his home in Sessay near Thirsk.

Paul, 52, left his home at around 9pm on Monday 30 April 2018 and has not been seen since.

He is described as white, 5’11” with short but wavy, black, greying hair and a short beard/stubble. He is believed to be wearing a plain black baseball cap, a red and black checked lumberjack style shirt, black denim jeans and short black boots. He is also possibly wearing a three quarter length olive/khaki green coat with a fleece lining and hood.

Police have carried out extensive enquires to find Paul, including searches with volunteer search and rescue teams and using air support from the National Police Air Service, but Paul remains missing.

Officers are asking members of the public to report any sightings of Paul and to contact them if they have seen him since Monday evening.

Anyone with information is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 1 and pass information to the Force Control Room.
