Police are investigating the theft of two to three tonnes of firewood that occurred on 31st December 2018 between 3pm and 3:30pm.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The wood was stored on the roadside between Sandy Brow and Rosley School, Wigton.
“A large blue van was seen in the area prior to the theft taking place.
“Police are seeking any witnesses to the incident and any information on the blue van that was seen in the area.”
