Man hurt in Carlisle attack

Outrageous

Police are investigating an assault which occurred inside the Outrageous nightclub in Carlisle, on Friday the 1st of February, between 2:30am and 2:50am hours.

A 22-year-old man from Carlisle sustained minor facial injuries as a result of the incident.

It is thought that the incident involved two offenders.

The first is described as a white man aged in his late teens or early twenties, around 5ft 6ins tall and of medium build. He is described as being clean shaven with light brown, short hair. He is described as wearing a light coloured sweatshirt and dark jeans.

The second suspect is described as a white man aged in his late teens or early twenties, 5ft 8ins tall and of average build. He is described as being clean shaven and having dark brown hair cut short on the back and sides and longer on top. He was wearing a dark jumper and dark trousers.

Police are looking for anyone who may be able to identify the offenders, or who witnessed the assault take place, specifically a woman who was with the victim in the lead up to the assault.

Anyone with any information should contact PC 2644 Fulton on 101, quoting log number 44 of the 2nd of February, or give information anonymously at Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
