Keswick Basketball Tournament and Fundraising

Keswick School Basketball Team

Keswick School Basketball Team are holding a Basketball Tournament and fundraising event on Saturday 16th March at 2pm in Fitz Park, Keswick on the multi-use games area.

The games will be short and played by teams of 3, with a chance to win the inaugural ‘Keswick Basketball Challenge’ Trophy. Simply come along with your team at 2pm to Fitz Park to sign up.

Keswick Lions are supporting this fundraising event and you will be able to play table top games including the shuffleboard and the nailboard. There will also be a raffle and a chance to show off your basketball skills in a shooting competition.

The Keswick School Basketball Team are a new team looking to raise funds to help with kit costs and the travel costs of getting to games. Luca Shorter, a boarder at Keswick School has been working with an enthusiastic group of basketball players who have been training and would like to increase their skills by playing competitive matches and joining a league.

If you’d like to show-off your basketball skills, or just give it a go, why not get a team together and come down to Fitz Park – you can register in advance or on the day – Entry per team will be £3. Whilst the tournament is for people aged 14+, all ages will be able to join in with the basketball shooting competition with medals available for different age groups.
