Police are investigating the theft of 76 sheep from Ravenstonedale, Boar Fell area. Between 13th February and the 10th April.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The value of the theft is £12,500.
“The sheep are Swaledale’s, they have a red mark on the rib area, UK number 103239 and the letters ‘PF’ are on the sheep’s horns.”
Anyone with any information or who witnessed suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact police on 101 quoting log 106 of 29th April 2019. Or alternatively the rural crime reporting line on 0800 783 0137.
