The 8th Cumbria International Motor Show 2019 took place at the Westmorland County Show Ground Crooklands Kendal on Sunday 19th May.

This prestigious car show has grown year on year and has become one of the largest car events in Cumbria.

In attendance were over 800 iconic cars on display and various dealerships such as, Aston Martin, Porsche, Lloyd BMW and Lake District Audi. Local food and drink traders, varied retailers and children’s entertainers.
The chosen charity for this year was The Great North Air Ambulance who also attended the event and managed to raise £1,772.96 for their outstanding organisation.

David and Heather Robinson who are the event organisers were particularly proud to have as this year’s guest speaker Don Wales, Malcolm Campbell’s Grandson, who shared his many fascinating stories of all things record breaking. Music came from local band Sugar Foot and headlining the entertainment was the brilliant Dean Richardson (Freddie Mercury tribute) who brought a touch of Bohemian Rhapsody to the show ground and the many thousands of visitors in attendance.

David and Heather also gave special thanks to Kentdale Jaguar, Land Rover of Kendal who were their main sponsors.

The Cumbria International Motor Show is without doubt a not to be missed event for the calendar.
