Sandra Jones, NSPCC Community Fundraising Manager for Cumbria

Sign-ups have opened for Cumbria’s Big Quiz in support of children’s charity the NSPCC.

The synchronised quiz, to be held over the week of 7th to 11th October, will see teams across the county take on a battle of wit and general knowledge to support the charity’s work supporting children.

Sandra Jones, community fundraising manager for Cumbria, said: “We’re planning on a whole week  of quizzes – and the best part is, anyone can take part. You can host a quiz in a pub, a village hall or even in your own back garden.

“The questions have all been set, so all you need is to sign up, create an event and get people along on the day or night. The prizes will be totally up to each organiser, so it could be a cash prize, some luxury chocolates, a bottle of wine or just the glory of being the winning team – it’s entirely up to them.”

If anyone would like to set up an event, they can contact Sandra Jones on 07590 450647 or [email protected]
