Police are investigating an assault which occurred on Castle Street, Carlisle on the 26th November at around 10:55am.
A woman in her early 30s from Carlisle suffered injuries which are believed to be minor.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A 15-year-old girl from Carlisle has been arrested on suspicion of assault and released under investigation.”
