Police are investigating an incident of assault that occurred on Penrith Road, Keswick at approximately 12:30pm on Saturday 18th January.
It is reported to have involved three boys aged between 15 and 17, two of the boys where together.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The boy on his own suffered minor facial injuries.”
