Police are investigating two assaults which occurred outside the Co-Op store on Central Avenue, Harraby at 6.45pm on Friday (26 June).
A 24-year-old woman, from Carlisle, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and is currently on bail.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Two women, also from Carlisle, who were involved received facial injuries but did not attend hospital.
“Officers are appealing for witnesses who were in the of Central Avenue or inside the store at the time of the assault.”
