Police are investigating an assault that occurred in the area of St Nicholas Street and Botchergate, Carlisle, at around just after midnight on Tuesday morning (14 July).
A female was possibly assaulted by a male she was with.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone that may have been in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident.
