BT works on a stretch of the A66 in Cumbria are causing long delays for drivers.
The emergency works are being carried out at Sandford near Warcop and are leading to delays of up to 25 minutes for motorists travelling eastbound.
A manhole cover is being repaired on the carriageway and is expected to be resolved today.
