Cumbria Constabulary is appealing after thieves entered a Carr's Billington site in West Cumbria and stole £9,000 worth of fuel

Thieves entered a Carr’s Billington site in West Cumbria and stole £9,000 worth of fuel.

The Cockermouth site was targetted at some point between the evening of June 3 into the early hours of the following morning.

It is reported that suspects have entered the site and about £9,000 worth of fuel was taken.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area who saw a white Iveco van in the A66 area between 11pm and 12.30am.

Police are also appealing for anyone with any dashcam footage in the area to make contact.
